1993 120 Force Thermostat

Hi All,

I Want to replace the thermostat in my 93 120 force....any tips?

also, the manual doesn't list the temp...or have a parts diagram...

Any help....or parts diagram.... is greatly appreciated!

Looks like your motor uses a 130? thermostat.

I think this site sells the thermo.
There is only 1 temp range.
Removal??? Salt or fresh water??Profile,location?
Fresh water,a BIG slotted screwey.
It should come loose fairly easy.
If not maybe a wrench on the screwdriver shaft.
The thermo only goes in one way.
Salt water,possibly a bit tougher.
PB-Blaster.Tap the screws gently.
Your trying to loosen the corrosion around the screw.
I tap the end of the big screwey while it's in the slot.
Repeat.Try not to strip the end of the screw or break the screw.
If it's really tight you might need heat.
