1993 20' Sylvan pontoon and Honda BF60 motor

I have a 1993 20' Sylvan pontoon that currently has a 1993 Mercury 40HP 4cyl, 2-cycle engine that uses a lot of gas, makes a lot of smoke and needs a bit of an overhaul. I have been thinking of upgrading the motor to a newer, more efficient and quieter 4 stroke. The following motor recently came up for sale in my area and I was wondering if it would fit on my boat? I came here because of all the knowledgeable boat enthusiasts.

My hobby and primary source of mad money comes from working on Honda 40-90 hp motors (retired). They are all I work on, so pretty familiar with them, and have installed them on all sorts of stuff. One I did last summer had me a little concerned. It was a 50hp Honda, on a 16' pontoon that had just a minimum of furniture (a console w/captains swivel seat, and 3 lawn chairs). Turned out great. I would not hesitate to put one on an older 20' 'toon, assuming it is lightly loaded, and has a decent transom (not one of those scary adjustable ones).
