Looking at motor from prop side or back of engine. On the right side have two small hoses attached to top cylinder one higher than the other. They are the same size as the pee stream hose on the port side.The higher one is right below the flywheel but still on the upper cylinder. It attaches there and comes down and attaches to the bottom cylinder through a check valve. The other hose is a little below the other and goes around the port side and then attaches to bottom of malifold by way of check valve. I am pretty sure that water flows through this hoses but not sure. If so because of the age of motor am thinking that the hoses and check valves need cleaning are replacing. I do have a yamaha manual but it has no information on this issue.I have had problems with buzzer going off. So have replaced water pump,thermostat,prv,thermo sensor,head gasket and clean exhaust area and changed gaskets. My question is does water flow through these hoses and do these check valves clog up, if so can they be cleaned?
