1993 Evinrude Tracker Prop?

Hello All,



What prop size do i need for this engine------TE115TLET when mounted on a 1988---- 18 foot fiberglass boat called an invader?. The pop now is 13 X 19. I ran the boat out for the first time with the 13 x 19 prop on it (it came with this prop) and it really seemed to bog down. Will getting a different prop for take care of this problem?

Sorruy about that guys.

Heres the info that I have currently.


1) Performance issue you are trying to correct-----Bogging down. RPM cut in half to around 2500 at WOT

2)Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless as a minimum---its dark in color so i dont believe its stainless. i dont know the model number.

3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required). 13 x 19

4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)--2500 RPM (2 guys at 200 pounds each. no bait tank. About a hundred other pounds for miscellaneous.


5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP----1993 TE115TLETS


6) Boat make model, year, length and weight ---18 foot 1988 Invader CC

Your prop is about right.Should plane out and run 35 or so.
Start with the simple stuff.Is the throttle opening all the way at the carbs?
Does it respond to a little choke? does squeezing the primer bulb help?
Has the motor been correctly tuned? Check that it is running on all cylinders.
Do you trim in(down) for hole shot?
