1993 Force 15hp ignition

This is a 93 Force OEOO4355 15hp I have 115 psi compression but this motor won't pop it sparks when grounded to the head would this be anything other than modules being that they are unavailable what a great company put a product on the market with no way to get parts to fix it this motor looks like new are there any aftermarket modules or should I be looking for a parts doner any kind of help would be appreciated

Could be fuel, could be timing.<br />If it sparks to the head, then why wouldn't it spark thru the plug?<br /><br />Welcome to iboats.<br /><br />According to the Mercury website, you serial number motor is a 92 at best, could actually be older. And it shouldn't have any modules.<br /><br /><br />If you have a 93, then it has modules and they are available from Mercury, part number 300-850899T $66.

Welcome to iboats, <br />We need more info to diagnose your problem, When was the last time the motor ran? Did anything happen the last time it was run? What do you mean exactly by it won't pop? Do you have fresh gas? What does the spark plug look like?

Don't know when it last ran when I say won't pop I put carb cleaner straight in the carb and when I say sparks to the head I mean plugs grounded to the head seems it won't spark under compression but I can't see the plugs in the cylinders if you know what I mean and from all the info I get they are called modules they look like coils to me but there are no points or condensers on the mag plate I hope this give you more info if not let me know what you need pinpointing the year has been tuff some say 92 others say 93

Thanks Roscoe Part no longer available a 93 throw away motor in perfect shape give me omc any day but no really thanks for your helpI'm just wineing
