GOOD NEWS. . . . The PICTURE UPLOAD FUNCTION IS WORKING !!! The tech folks at the parent company have been able to remedy the issue. You can upload pictures once again. Thank you for your patience.
It should be a strong jet of water , a dribble would mean you nead to replace the impellor / pump or you have a blockage, I take it this is in the water and not on flushing muffs as you can sometimes get a poor stream on muffs,
The outlet at the lower cowl on the V4 loopers is quite large compared to the 1/8" elbow outlet at the engine, so the stream is not as strong as one would see with the smaller fitting used on crossflows and other models.
oregonboatnewb posted a picture of what the stream on his 140 would look like at idle:
My 150 squirts harder than that at idle. It squirts back several feet at idle and will clean your hand at speed. In more accurate terms I have 2-3 PSI at idle and 25-30 PSI at WOT.
The picture looks like a dribble... is that really running at idle? It looks like that engine is moving along at a pretty good clip.
