i am having troubles of the motor not starting, it will fire once( pop ) and then nothing. it will do this numerous times, untill about 5 minutes later it finally starts, and when it does, it will run fine for about 60 seconds, then stumble for about 10 seconds slowly losing rtpms untill it dies, at wich point, it will only pop one time with every flick of the key again.

now and again it will actually runn ok, max ive had it running was about 15 minutes, when it comes back to idle such as docking or such, it will dies and not re-start.

i did a lynk-and-sync the best i could, i was at a koa campground and didnt have iboats or a manual.

all of my signs points point to dirty carbs, or gummed up carbs.

i have a fresh 60 gallon tank of 50:1 pre-mix, along with a brand new water/fuel filter, and a brand new inline see-through filter. all fuel lines are brand new.

what about too much oil? i had the tank full of pre-mix, then i bought the motor and it has the oil injection still hooked up, so im getting double oil.

any ideas?

it stalled twice on me just off the keys, in the atlantic. i dont wanna happen again.

This is just a hair brained guess, but it sounds to me like an intermittent electrical problem. Have you checked the main motor connection? Maybe a bad pin or corrosion.

If you hold in the choke does it keep running?
