1993 Mercury XR6 150

150 mounted to a 18' Laser bass boat with 8" set back jackplate, 5 blade SST prop, only running around 41-42mph,trimmed out, tachometer not working so cant give the rpms. 2 new triggers, new voltage regulator, all 6 wires firing, compression is 120+ on each cylinder.
does this sound right?

Not really...what pitch prop??? 5 blade has lift but sucks on speed

ill pull the prop and advise as there is no size stamped on the side - just feels like its not turning up the rpms

is it my understanding that a stator going bad produces less spark therefore engine not getting enough spark?
my water pump went out, horn went off, shut it down, replaced impellor and now it wont run right. found voltage reg melted, replaced it, no change, replaced both triggers now have spark on both banks, guessing its not enough spark though. ideas?

that prop ona laser sucks unless ya pulling a bunch of skiers......
