1993 omc 3.0 L sunk

I am looking to buy a 1993 cobia with a 3.0 L omc in it. The owner said it was under water for 12 hours. What will need to be done to make this motor right. I might be able to get the boat for 300 dollars and the interior is said to be in good shape. Is this a good deal and what will need to be done to make motor good.

OMC has been out of biz for some time and being that it was submerged for a period of time is strike 2. And the period of time that has passed since being submerged could have already done in the motor if it wasn't drained and gone through let alone the possible mold issues with the cloth and other related areas such as electricals. Iwould pass. But to answer your ? flushing the water out of the block would be 1st priority and turning it over if the starter isn't done in already.
