1993 OMC 5.0 L Wiring

First ever post...I recently purchased a 1993 Four Winns Horizon 190 with a OMC 5.0L motor. Did some work to the water pump and removed some wiring to make things easier. (I did say Easier) . The large round plug that connects the instrument panel has a small rubber 3 wire connector coming out of it and I can not see where to plug it back in. There is a Green/white, blue/white and red/purple wire going to this rubber connector. Hope that helps.... I can post pictures if it helps...

That 3 wire hookup is for your trim and tilt. Look for a similar plug coming from the throttle/shifter control.

It should be on the starboard side of the engine at the back of the exhaust manifold. The pigtail off the harness isn't too long, so the piece to connect it to should be fairly long (18" or so)
