1993 OMC Cobra Outdrive

Hello everyone,

I was wanting to know if you know someone or someplace that I can buy a good used OMC Cobra Outdrive for a 1993 4 cylinder OMC inboard. The lower leg unit seized up on her and we are trying to find a good replacement OMC Cobra Outdrive. Just wondering if one of you know of where I can get one at. Thanks, Bob

QC, just curious, when was the photo (avatar) taken? Its my understanding that motorized crafts cant get that close to hoover dam since 911. in fact cant go north of willow beach. cool photo by the way

I have been there this year although that pic was taken three years ago. You can get get just as close. The line just behind me is since 9/11 I understand. They are floating aluminum barriers chained together. There are definitely rules as to when you can go and not, but it is environmental BS not security . . . Here's one set of rules:

Upper Black Canyon
Boating Rules
(Upstream from Willow Beach
Harbor to Hoover Dam)
Year Round
Sunday and Monday
(Primitive Zoning)
Motorized vessels prohibited
Labor Day - Memorial Day
Tuesday - Saturday
(Semi-primitive Zoning)
Motors greater than 65 HP prohibited
PWCs prohibited
Memorial Day - Labor Day
Tuesday - Saturday
No horsepower restrictions
PWCs allowed

This is contradicted somewhat by this:

So the best bet is to call Willow Beach before you go, 928-767-4747.

We usually stay at The Hacienda (just there over Labor Day). If the wind blows too hard we launch on Willow. We went Memorial Day weekend on Saturday this year, which is actually stated as closed if you read the C & P literally. The linked map says "(beginning
Saturday of Memorial
Day weekend through
Labor Day)" which is what we did. Somebody that worked at Willow said you can go anytime, so I am still confused . . . Good luck!!
