1994 100hp merc with one low comp cyl

So what should I expect to pay for this fix? One of the four cylinders seems to be scored and needs to be reringed and possibly a new piston and redo the wall. thank you bob

"low comp" is a derogatory term.

How low?
Did you de-carb?

Badly scored cylinder needs more than new rings.
Also, a 'lightly' scored cylinder can loose just few points too.
Depends on how bad it is.

Now the million dollar question.
Did you find the cause?

(So it doesn't happen again)

Like posted earlier, what caused it?? It really depend on condition of cylinders and if they are within wear spec's. You may have to bore all of them, worst case about $900-1200...
