I have contracted a local boat dealer in Florida to sell my boat for me. They have had it since Nov. Last May, I winterized the engine (1994-225 Johnny) by fogging it, new plugs, lower unit grease, etc. I filled the gas tank and put in twice the amount of Sta bil called for. If the rig doesn't sell in a year, is there anything I can do to make certain the gas doesn't foul like adding more sta bil? Taking it out and using up the 85 gallons of gas in the tank isn't an option.
Stalker

Sta Bil will hold it that long.

I know that the Sta bil will keep it fresh for a year, but I'm more concerned if the year goes by and it still hasn't sold. Would adding more Sta bil prolong the deteriation process?
Stalker

21.6' Sunbird WAC (1991) with 225 Johnny (1994). I think the dealer is asking more than it's worth but he knows I'll take an offer. Boat is loaded GPS, FF, VHS, bait well, Bimmini, dual batteries and bilge pumps, etc. Performance trailer. I think the 225 scares customers away because of the gas she burns.
Stalker
