1994 25hp mercury outboard stator

what is the ohm. reading on a stator. the one in there now is .770 there is no spark to the plugs

Do you have a dva? Check for signals before and after the switch box (power pack thing). Unusual to have both cylinders dead. Too many components to simultaneously fail. Check these guys out:

no the stator was bad brought one from l and l put it on it started up.
