Hello all- new Ketchikan, AK boater and new to this forum.
My 94 merc with Alpha outdrive seems to have an issue when cranking the wheel full left.

The power steering ram is fully retracted (hard stop), but the angle of the outdrive is pretty shallow. This isn’t too much of an issue when moving forward, but in reverse, the limit on the steering is substantial and problematic.
Right hand steering (ram extension) isn’t a problem.
Is there some way to adjust the ram? Re-calibrate it in such a way that I can get a greater angle on the outdrive when cranking hard left?
