Friend has a 94 85hp yamaha,that the overheat alarm goes off when running at a cruising speed or above, he has replaced the thermostat, bolt broke on thermostat housing so headgasket has been replaced to. Has not replaced the water pump yet because the tell tell is strong. at idle or trolling speed it will run without overheating,get on plane in 10 minutes alarm will go off. Compression test reads 110 psi all cyl. Any recommendations.
