1994 90hp E90TLERC

Hello all..I have a question on replacing a defective part on the above mentioned motor. Unfortunately I have to replace the swivel bracket due to an unexpected meeting with a stump. My question is I have looked over the bracket and it seems that once I remove the lower unit and attached the motor to a engine hoist that I can replace the swivel without pulling the powerhead. Am I seeing this correctly??

That motor I'm not absolutly positive about but most need the head removed.
Get the manual.
There might be a downloadable one here someplace.J

Anyone??....i have the manual but I have looked this over and I believe that it can be swapped without removing the powerhead. If anyone has attempted this please lend a hand.
