I purchased a 1994 evinrude 140hp v4 looper in 2023. The individual i bought it from said it cuts out intermittently and thought it was the carbs he had also removed the 2 cycle oil reservoir and was premixing. After rebuilding the carbs (appeared to be recently rebuilt) put in new thermostats and fixed a blown out rubber seal on the impeller housing face. It seemed to run longer before cutting out. The heads measures 160° with temp gun right after it started cutting out. Does anyone know at what temp the S.L.O.W. feature activates and limits rpms. And if I'm not reaching that temp is there a way to disconnect the S.L.O.W. feature? Thank you
