1994 Evinrude 70hp Engine Problems

We have a 94' Evinrude here that has low spark. <br />Spark is too low to show up on the high tention lead on #1 Cylinder. 2 and 3 have good spark. We have tried installing a stator. We unfortunatly dont have service manual here, just wondering what you guys think. Im leaning toward a new trigger assemby, anyone got some input?

I really have a bad feeling about working on an engine without a correct manual, Hazard, and also about trying to diagnose by swapping parts.<br /><br />I suggest that you get a manual, follow the troubleshooting procedures in there and only replace what needs replacing.<br /><br />Good luck.
