I have had intermittent problems with my merc 60hp cutting back under load and all the way shutting down. i pull cover off coils and voltage regulator and get strong burnt smell , the voltage regulator clear stuff over electrics is oozed all over the place onto one coil and down in motor cover area. The boat will run right now cool but once hot will cut up , is this my problem, what could have caused it. any help please thanks
