I have a 94 rangertrail single axel trailer with the grease hubs and 'm trying to figure out how to repack regrease the bearings. Boat is a 481 vs if that matters with Brakes.
I've taken off the wheel and even have a needle fitting about 6" long that i attempt to hold against the spindle and force grease thru the back of the bearing and aout the front. As i've been told by Ranger.
I have got to think there's a better way, either something on my trailer is askew or this needle thing is for the birds.
Does this thing screw into the spindle and go 6" into it?
Or am i supposed to believe your supposed to remove the key pin and hold 2 fingers over the pin holes while someone else pumps grease into it?
I just dont have enought hands.
I called Ranger and Curtis said what i have is what i need and to just hold pressure on it, or replace the female fittings in the spindle with new tap in ones.
What gives ?
