Hello I have referenced this forum several times and sometimes it is help full in diagnosis and troubleshooting I have a 1994 larson Escapade with a sbc and volvo dpc out drive the boat runs great but the tachometer dosnt work not even a twich and is stuck on what would be an idle rpm the last time it worked. I have verified power and signal and ground to be good but I also have a problem with the trim gauge as well always reading up position but this gauge does react to voltage draw when using somthing that draws current. I have checked and verified the potiometer is workin corectly but I was reading one of the post with a similer issue and my question is the black digital to anolog box. Could this be causing both gauges to not work. I was considering changing the tach out but my instrument cluster is integrated and would kinda suck to replace and not match the rest of the gauges. Iv been looking into this on and off for a year now and everything iv checked seems to come back to the black box that not many people seem to have much data on
