1994 VP 5.0FL PMDA - Starter

Ok, so the starter died today. So now I am trying to figure out which one to order. I thought the 1994 VP 5.0L engines were GM. However, when I look at the Parts diagram in the Iboats store, it gives me the starter number for the Ford 5.0/5.8L marine engines. Can you all help me determine if I have the GM or Ford marine engine.

The FL after the 5.0 indicates it's a Ford carbed engine. GL would have been a Chevy engine.

Also, a Ford engine has the distributor on the front of the engine, Chevy is in the back of the engine.

THANKS!! I am a little bummed as that means parts are going to start getting scarce, but on the bright side, this engine is running great now. The starter was the last thing I expected to have to replace this year.

Any thoughts on the aftermarket starters? Iboats only sells Sierra and Arrowhead, so if I go OEM, I will have to go to a marine shop and not throw my support here.
