This motor is new to me.Haven't taken it out on the water yet.still doing some minor hookups.while running it with the muffs on/ while in neutral the prop is spinning. Is this normal???
A little bit of slow prop rotation in neutral seems to be normal in everything I've ever owned. Should be able to stop the prop without any gear noise(be cautious). Even a super slow current where I slip will spin the prop while in neutral with engine off.
If it is lazily turning - Normal. I think the lube is being churned and the output shaft picks up some motion from the moving oil.. If it is actually spinning in neutral, you have a problem.
