1995 150 ocean pro lower interchangable with 1987??

I have a 95 long shaft and looked at lower from a 1987 v6 commercial long shaft.I like to keep a spare lower.How to tell if they are interchangable?

Find any length 1990 and up V-6 and all parts will interchange...just swap driveshafts and rod....
