My Bass Tracker has a livewell problem.Seems that the switch at the livewell when turned to fill will only fill it up a little.I put a winebottle cork into the plug inside the livewell. It fills all the way up now,but will not recirculate. Is it the switch? Or something else,I can keep fish alive,I just fill half way up and keep turning on to replenish the water, but when it fills up,I have to pull the cork and start over.Any suggesetions?

i don't know it they were still using this system in 95 but my 88 has a tube that fits the outlet and runs to the top that effectively puts your drain point at the top of the live well so when the pump kicks on the water circulates and the excess drains over the edge of the tube

it you could get it connected you could build a stand pipe of pvc with a tee at the bottom that goes to a valve that you can open to drain the system

I had the exact same boat from 1993.

There's 3 hole in the livewell, 2 in the bottom and 1 on top.

The top one is the overflow drain. One of those on the bottom is the water fill outlet, wich came from a pump, and is fitted with a 90 deg. pvc tube that goes upward almost to the top of the livewell, while the other is the drain, in wich there should be a plug of the same size than the bilge plug.

As for recirculating, you simply let the pump running and the overflow exit.
