I'm starting a restore on this '95 Bayliner Capri that sat uncovered for 4 years exposed to the south Texas elements. I'm replacing the rotted out floor and the upholstery got chewed by some kind of varmit.
Question: how do i remove the throttle handle so I can separate the assembly from the side panel. The side panel is completely removed from the wall so I have easy access to both sides. I removed the hex locking screw from the handle, removed the 3 bolts and teflon nuts, 2 wood scews, and the 3 machine bolts but the throttle assembly does not seem to want to come apart from the handle.
Thanks
Regan
