1995 carolina skiff 2180 redeck

new to me boat. supposedly went through structural overhaul in 2010. transom seems solid. floor has some soft spots. can anyone answer some questions?

1) is this supposed to be a foam filled hull?
2) are stringers port to starboard or front to back.
3) to cut out entire floor, redeck and glass, what's the approx cost of materials??diy

1) Probably, most are, but somebody's been there before you, so who knows,.....
2) Stringers run fore, 'n aft,.. bulkheads run side to side,....
3) It depends on what you find when you open it up,....

Its odd you would have soft spots on the floor of an all fiberglass boat. There isn't any wood in the floor (or under the floor) on that boat. even the transom is 100% fiberglass. I would like to know what you find if you cut the floor out. thx
