Good afternoon,
im doing some work my 1995 evinrude 50 hp. It is on a Lund boat. Both 200 hrs. The motor is super nice. Issue is it sat for years not touched in a garage. local shops won’t touch it. So I read up here and watched videos. Rebuilt the carburetors new plugs, new high test fuel, filter and impeller. Good news it fired up in drive with hose. Took it out today ran like a champ. But similar to this original post not at idle but at low speed Motor moves shakes some. I’ve had 2 strokes before And this is a bit off. I don’t know about coils or power packs but will try any advice form the forum. Any help would be appreciated

Post the compression values.----And does spark jump a gap of at least 3/8" on both leads, yes or no?---Was there a lot of dirt in the carburetors ?----Perhaps check for a sheared flywheel key.----Is VRO in service and checked ?----Or mixing at 50:1 in your tank?

Not really on dirt. Think just sat a long time. I’m handy but compressions will take me a bit to get a tool. And spark, you mean will it jump to the block 3/8 of an inch. Really it’s like a time machine paint is still shinny on cowling. Vro. Is in service and it’s working fine. I really don’t know what the sheared flywheel is.
I really appreciate your help. I will get the answers. Thanks
