I have a 1995 E50TLEO ( 2 cyl, electric start) that has been running beautifully. The only trouble it gives me is once or twice a year the RPM does it come all the way up until I mess with the throttle a bit. But now it does not start at all. I have a Service Manual and to the best of my "shade-tree" troubleshooting ability, I've found the powerpack is only putting out to one primary, i.e. when I swap the primaries on the coil the other spark plug fires fine. My questions are: 1) Other than ripping half the top-half apart to access & change the powerpack, how likely is it that something else like a regulator, mag, wiring, ignition switch, or random connection, is bad? and 2) I've had the oil-injection system disconnected ( VRO conector disconnected) for years & mix 50:1 in the tank; can the this ignition issue have anything to do with the oil injection system?
