1995 evinrude 50hp hardly turns over. I have changed starters. new battery cables", heavy"cables new battery, high cold amps. When I remove plugs it spins super fast. I have good ground and heavy hot cables. This is all I know to do. Any advice greatly appreciated thanks guys

Both are 3 cylinder I assume ?------Your trouble shooting approach may differ than mine.-------Take battery back to where you bought it and have it load tested.------If it is PROVEN to be a good battery then take starter apart.----------Inspect brushes.---Take ohm reading from shaft to the commutator with a digital meter.------Should read infinity.-------------Do the same test on the other starter that you replaced.

Load test the battery.sounds like it cranks when there is no resistance/compression and when under load it struggles. The battery may seem good but fails under load.Charlie
