1995 Force 70HP - What Spare Parts to Have on Hand

Hey all, thanks for the help getting this motor going, running great so far. Question is, if I wanted to limit my chance of being stranded off shore with this motor, what spare parts would you carry on board? Since Force is new to me, I have little sense (people tell me that in general) of reliability weak points.

Carry a kicker motor of 7 to 10 HP-----In many areas around the world you are required by law to have twins to go offshore.

Just can't go wrong with this advice! And for each season just make sure you at least ran it once or twice!

The only part I ever needed for mine was a tilt relay.
Cheap and nice to have when you go to load the boat on the trailer.

There is no manual tilt release on that motor.

One of the things I WON'T go out without is towing insurance.
And a flight plan left at home.

New plugs and a pull rope(some come with slots on the flywheel for a rope).
Tool kit with wire, connectors,wrenches, screwdrivers.
One other thing, a camera.(caught an 80# + Rockfish and had to throw it back)

And because I have the 7HP aux motor, I also have a separate 6 gal gas tank for it. And to make sure I can also use this spare gas tank for the main motor, I have a spare gas hose that'll allow connection to the main motor. And I actually have to use it more than once . . . running out of gas from the main tank!
