1995 Four Winns 19' Bowrider OMC

Looking at purchasing a 1995 Four Winns 19' bowrider with a V-8 I/O OMC with Volvo Penta 5.0.

I have 1 summer of boating under my belt with a 1987 3.0L mercrusier 130 hp with an Alpha one drive. I'm quite happy with this power package. I'd love to get advice and opinions on this system. I've heard some bad things about the OMC. What about the Volvo drive?

How's the quality of the Four Winns boat?

In 1995 Volvo and OMC were in a joint venture. The outdrive on the boat you are looking at is likely the OMC Cobra SX drive which is also known as the Volvo Penta SX drive. Good drives and support and parts should be fine. I would say that the boat and power package you are considering should be good.
