Congrats shep.

Any idea WHERE the kill switch wire is messed up? Is it the wire iteself, or the actual switch?

Just wondering if you traced it enough to pinpoint the problem or not.

I'm heading out to tinker with mine right now...wish me luck!

Planning to check the kill switch wire first, then the crankcase to fuel pump hose, then possibly spark check, etc.

Take care,

OK I did that wrong, please excuse I am new to this.

It seems you all are having a similar problem to me. But I think it is my power pack, can anyone tell me if there is a way to check it??

I'm sure there is a way to check it, but I don't know how.

I'd recommend starting a new thread if you haven't already. There are a lot of folks who can help you that may not look at this thread.

Good luck to ya! You're on the right website for boat help, no doubt!

It was the kill switch that had the short. I bought both switches kill and ignition since I was going to be removing the cover from my control box. I found the parts on ebay that are new for cheap.
