I recently bought a 1995 Larson 17' w/ Merc 135 and it consistantly pulls to the right when operating. At high speeds 25-50 I really have to fight it to stay straight. I have tried adjusting the tail fin angle several times but nothing seems to work. HELP PLEASE!! Thanks.

The rear trailing edge of the trim tab should be towards the Port side of the boat. Also what kind of prop are you using?

In addition to proper trim tab positioning, correct engine trim is instamental in neutralizing torque pull on your stearing. Trimming to the neutral torque usually is also your optimum operating condition for your boat/engine if they have been mated properly.
Good Luck and Good Boating

for what its worth.................

I have a 1988 Larson w/150 merc. bought new and had a major pulling problem from day one. long story short, it came with single cable steering, merc. recommends at a min requirment duel cable steering so the dealer install hydri. steering and it solved the pull

good luck

leroy
