Hello, I have a 1995 Mercury 150hp xr6 that has a continue beeping sound, even if I turn it over and don't get it started it beeps, it is a continuous fast beeping. Please help. Need to get this fixed.

I have a video of it but can't get it to upload.

The beep beep can be caused by an oil injection problem, low oil in the tank, bad float or sensor in the oil tank and several other problems with the system. Number 1 - Do not run it on straight gas until the problem is fixed. Add oil to the gas before running. The worse that can happen if you do this it will smoke a bit. If you don't fix the problem and the injection system isn't working you can destroy the engine in a matter of minutes. I have two friends who have those motors and they are almost bullet proof. If you don't have the knowledge to trouble shoot the oil system I would strongly suggest you find some one who does.

I have checked to make sure there is oil is in both tanks etc. It runs really good still. It just has the alarm going off non stop. I have ran it several times since and never had issue with it starting or running at all...

BT Doctur, water in the fuel filter would set and alarm off like this one. Continuous fast beeping. It will even do it if I attempt to start the boat and it doesn't fire right up and run, It will start going off...

Tis no filter as FI motors only have this feature. If alarm comes on as soon as key is turned to on highly likely module has failed.
