My 1995 Four Winns Horizon 190 with a OMC 5.0L has what I think is an intermittent kill switch. Occasionally there is "nothing" when turning ignition key, if I jiggle the kill switch, it'll crank/start then. I ordered a new one, looks like 4 wires to connect. Explain if its difficult to wire /splice to replace the old one as its a different connector/plug than the old one.

Ayuh,..... The "Kill switch" has nothin' to do with the "Start" circuit,.....
It cuts off the "Ignition" circuit,.....

The neutral safety switch, interrupts the "Start" circuit,.....

'n both switches are usually just 2 wires to make, or break the circuit,.....

OK. So if the "kill" or "cut off" switch is engaged(lanyard cord pulled). The starter will still crank but engine not turn over/start, correct? So if I'm getting an occasional "nothing" turning the key, you're saying it could be the neutral safety switch. How do I repair/correct that?
Thanks
