Hello I am new to boating and this site I just purchased a used boat that has been sitting in storage for ten years I know not the best idea but I am very handy so I can work on it but the boat has a threaded hole about the same size as my drain plug in the bow of the boat just under the trailer hookup does anyone have any idea what it might be for? The original owner got ill and passed away so I have no way to ask what it was and getting info on this boat is not easy. Appreciate any insight on this.

Wherever it leads to can be found by looking in the bow area that.will at least drain hole of some sort that leads to that thru Hull fitting. That thru Hull fitting needs to be replaced and bedded properly . All I see is water intrusion 101 .

Thanks for the help it is a drain for the anchor storage area I was able to get to it in the cabin had to remove a speaker and was able to reach in and remove all the treasures left behind by last owners. Now just got to get the new drain to install.
