My shop manual, champion plug manual and what is physically in the engine when I purchased the boat are totally different. What is in the boat is QL77JC4, the manual calls for L77JC4 and the champion manual calls for QL82C. Now I understand that the Q stands for resistor but I definitely do not know what the difference is between the Q/L77JC4 and the Ql82C in fact they seem to be the same (visually). I would appreciate if someone could share their knowledge and let me know what spark plug should be installed in this 1996 112 SPL Evinrude. Thanks in advance!!
