My tach indicator wire was not wired to the indicator when I bought the boat so of course I have no tach. In the middle of the back tachometer its labeled "sending". I assume that is where the gray tach wire from the regulator should go.
On basic tachs, there are usually three wire connections. One for the Signal (usually gray or purple on Force engines), Battery (red wire) and Ground (black wire). Depending on the maker and styles, these labels could be differently named.
