I have a 1996 150 and the carbs leak fuel from the bottoms of the carbs. I purchased this motor new and it has not had any carb work in the past. Its getting harder and harder to start and it has a pause before it runs at full throddle. I'm not sure where to start with this problem, obvisously i need some suggestions.

Welcome to Iboats!

You will get plenty of help if you post in the correct category...
If the mods could please move this to the Outboard section....:D

While we're waiting to get a ride to the other forum let's look at a couple of things. Pull the carb cover off and see if you can pinpoint the source of the leak. It may be coming from the throat, leaking out & running down then dripping off the bottom. There is a small BB in the side. Those are well known to leak, easily fixed. It may be leaking around the bowl gasket. May be a line leaking.

Mine leaked and it was the needle in the bowl not seating right. Everytime i pumped the primer bulb it would pour out.
