Its starving for fuel, I would get carbkits and rebuild them.
You can't fix carbs by spraying stuff into the intakes, they have to come apart.
Its a simple process, see the top secret file and look at some videos on youtube, boat carbs are simple.
Took me 45 minutes to do all 6 first time.

I'd check the fuel system before the motor first. Is the primer bulb going flat when this happens? If so your restriction is before the bulb. If buld is hard it after. A quick and some times easy tell tale.

Before the primer bulb itr might be a old water separator, old fuel filter, or check valce at the tank.

After the bulb it could be the in line fuel filter under the hood, the VRO pump, or carbs.

If there was a restriction before the pump , applying choke wouldn't do anything.
The choke is the tell tale sign in this case.
Its not the VRO for the same reason.
The choke bypasses the carbs, so the problem is in the carbs.

buy rebuild kits. Check float height and when complete do a lynck and synck. Do you have the manual for your motor?

Did you use the clear plastic gasket washers under the brass seats? If so, remove them and reset the float heights correctly.

Another common mistake is to either reuse or to forget the small round gasket that goes around the high speed nozzle well, # 343512. If left out or leaking air, it will not allow the motor to accelerate or run well at high speeds.

thanks to everyone, I did not use the plastic gaskets because I could see the float height was wrong. Apparently, I need to completely rebuild all of the carbs. Thanks again and keep the info coming, really helps a DIY person like me.
