told you to take your bravo icm off your bravo engine?? and put an alpha icm on it???

The boat was repowered, using a Bravo engine, and he has an Alpha outdrive......... With a shift interrupte system

Better keep that quarter. :p

Yeah, I know. I've been following the posts. But as you said earlier--another opinion and still the boat is not fixed. How many posts is this now? Just thought I'd poke some fun. And we ARE slow here at the shop so I guess I had better keep my quarter, I may need it. :D

FYI- The boat is fixed! Traced out the wire harness like my mechanic told me and found that the black wire on the Bravo ICM was cut and not grounded. When I say the black wire i talking the one that is opposite the gray wire on the harness, not the actual module ground but the wire that would of been used on the shift interrupt if it was an actual Alpha ICM. Thanks for all the help guys and once again Don was really close on the problem.

68 MPH now that its running good. Little to fast for an 18' open bow but feels good!!
