Thanks to all who answered my plea. The diagram really helped as I found out that the guy who hooked up the cables to the solenoid did it wrong. (Not telling anyone it was me, so please don't tell.) I really appreciated the answers and now I can hopefully enjoy the summer boating and FISHING, if the rain will ever stop. Thanks again to all. One happy Canadian and now time for one.Canadian that is.

How true nevjb. If you have heard of Quetico Provincial Park, it is only 30 minutes from me, and is one of the most beautiful parks around. Just canoeing with no motor boats allowed. Thanks for all your help.

Finally had a chance to get the boat out and everything ran great. Disconnected the VRo and running mixed gas. Once the electrical was all hooked up right it ran well. Thanks again to everyone who helped.
