I picked up a 1996 9.9 Evinrude 4 stroke electric start. It was set up as a kicker and came with controls but no tiller handle and shift lever I would like to put it on a small aluminum boat for my kids to fish out of. i was wondering if anyone on here knew of a place that I could get used parts so i can put a tiller back on.

Conversion to tiller steering might be difficult.

Alternatively, you might consider setting up a small boat with remote steering and controls -- a helm station is not all that hard to set up, and might turn out to be more versatile for use. A 14 foot aluminum boat would be a good choice. If you have the controls, you are well on your way. JMO.

Depending on financial concerns, a Boston Whaler is a good, safe choice -- 11 foot model is an interesting little hull, and you would have no difficulty selling it when your kids are into something else.

Thanks Flyingscott. Those links are a great start. Oldboat1, you are right, I could easily set up a helm and it may be easier than scrounging parts. I would love to find a little whaler.
