Hi all,
Had an ignition problem a month of so ago and had to replace the Iginition ECM (old one died). Engine now starts and all is good except the stereo and fish finder are dead.
Stereo has been in the boat since new, I installed the fish finder about 2 years ago, and its wired off the the accessory outlet.

I have checked the fuse block underneath the dash and all are ok. Anyone got any other ideas? Im a little stumped!

I should point out that the new EMC was a newer model (old one was no longer available) that need splicing into the existing wiring loom (behind the distributor) perhaps thats has something to do with it? although i doubt it somehow?

Splicing into the engine electrical system shouldn't be the problem; the rest of the boat has a separate system. At least, it's supposed to. You'll need to trace the power leads (positive and negative) from the accessories to the battery to find where the break is.
