1996 evin 3cyl 50 hp timer base

This is a follow up to my intermittent no spark problem I posted July 27.<br />Thanks to Backlash, Almost Retired Again, Joe Reeves and Clanton for your input.<br />It turns out that my problem was the timer base, not the power pack.<br />Dealer told me this was a very rare problem, for him anyway.<br />??What can go wrong with a timer base?? Wires all look good.
