1996 Force 120hp carb intake question

I have a 1996 120hp force with dual carbs four cylinder ob. My question is, does all for cylinders share the intake from both carbs or does the top carb only feed two of the cylinders and the bottom carb feed the other two? If one carb is out of sync a little bit with the other is there a big impact in cylinder balancing?

Top carb feeds the top two cylinders, bottom feeds bottom two. An unbalanced setting will decrease your performance, and possibly (if too lean) damage pistons. Read the link and sync sticky in the FAQ section. Your two carb engine is a breeze to tune, don't let it scare you
