A little feedback.. I posted a ? concerning this problem and believe I've retified it by re-jetting the carb. to a slightly smaller size main jet. The motor would run at high rpm then stall at idle due to oily black plugs. With the smaller jet, It runs cleanly with a nice chocolate brown color on the plugs without stalling at idle. Just a little FYI.. ;)

Hey dmessy,
Glad to hear you solved your problem. :) What effect, if any, did the rejetting have on your top end?
Backlash

Re: 1996 Force 75HP fouling plugs

Been takeing off last 4 days for some much needed R&R. Hit 4 lakes in 4 days and have burned about 12 gallons of fuel. No ill effects from the jet change, if fact, I believe I've picked up 1-2 MPH on the top end. My 17' Spectrum, loaded, with 2 men will do 38MPH. I'm happy with it's performance. :D
