If the 115hp is a 60 degree motor, the correct plug is QL78YC. If it is a 90 degree motor, use the QL82C plug.<br /><br />The only correct plug chart for Johnson and Evinrudes is published each year in the J-E Genuine Parts and Accessories Catalog that every dealer gets.

is this true<br />From what I know if your tilt/trim switch is on the right of the cowling it's a 90 if it's on the left 60. looking from the back of the motor.<br /><br />I FOUND THIS MAY BE TRUE MAYBE NOT.

It is true....does your hood have vents on the top, rear??

If you take the motor cover off, can you see the flywheel? If so, you have a 90 degree motor that takes QL82C.<br /><br />If you can't see a flywheel, then it's a 60 degree that uses QL78YC plugs.
